Spring is here, the sun is shining and the daffodils are blooming. We have made it through the long months of winter and arrived at the beginning of what I believe are the best 6 months of the year. What’s more, this winter we survived without too many floods either, which in Upton is a big plus! 

I love the spring, not least because it’s a fantastic time to enjoy local and seasonal produce. A personal favourite of mine has to be local asparagus, which always brings excitement when the first pick of the season arrives in-store. It pairs amazingly with a whole range of other local products including Cotswold Gold Hollandaise Sauce and Cacklebean eggs - it truly is a spring staple. We're proud to support local growers who work so hard to bring you the freshest produce, which let’s face it, taste so much better.

There is much to celebrate over the next few months with Mother’s Day and Easter just around the corner. It’s also the start of festival season here in Upton, with a whole host of music events set to arrive in the town, each brining its own unique character.
